Formerly called Peru Missions, we are a group of independent Baptist churches supporting South American missionaries so they can reach the world for Jesus Christ. IBM is based in Peru with many supporting churches in the USA and elsewhere. We operate under the authority of Iglesia Bautista El Lindero Antiguo (IBELA) in Villa El Salvador, Peru. IBM is solely supported by independent Baptists for the purpose of helping Peruvian missionaries reach the world with gospel of Jesus Christ.
Through our independent Baptist church partners we currently support over 60 missionaries in Peru, Argentina, and Bolivia.
We have worked in Peru since 2016 and been involved in world missions since 1991.
About Us
- We operate under church authority in the country, close to the missionaries, and able to know these national pastors and missionaries personally.
- Peru is perfectly located in South America and is able to reach the world, staring in South America
- Peru has a multitude of solid Baptist churches, missionaries, and pastors.
- Peru’s national morality standards honor God.
- Peru is a country richly blessed by God.
- The Peruvian Sol is strong and stable in South America. The economy of Peru is strong. The people of Peru are hard-working and visionary
- We already support men in every one of the 24 departments (states) of Peru.
- We have over 35 years publishing and distributing the scriptures through Bearing Precious Seed.
- We have over 35 years teaching the Baptist International university curriculum called School of the Scriptures, developed by Dr. Don Fraser and Bearing Precious Seed. This is a fully accredited university offers all levels from Associate to Ph.D. and is offered no charge. The curricula is fully available in over 100 languages, including Spanish.
- We use and encourage other churches to use Baptist International University and the School of the Scriptures to train our missionaries.
- We are already doing the work and the work has been proved.

Funding
All money goes to missionary support and/or scripture production and distribution. Funds are not used for any administration fees, salaries, or other expenses. Distribution to missionaries is either monthly, bi-monthly, one-time, or designated.
Gifts can be sent through Historic Baptist Church in Rhode Island or through Iglesia Bautista El Lindero Antiguo in Lima, Peru.
Requirements for our Missionaries
All missionaries must be aligned with our vision to reach the world for Jesus Christ as well as our Statement of Faith and confirm such in writing. All missionaries are held to a high standard and help and support other missionaries. They also must:
- Be Baptist in doctrine and practice.
- Sign a confirmation of the Statement of Faith.
- Have Baptist baptism for both husband and wife.
- Be legally married.
- Not be divorced – this applies to both husband and wife.
- Church sent.
- Have a good testimony.
- Have a world vision for evangelism.
