Our Mission

Our mission is to train, send, and support Baptist missionaries in South America to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We collect funds to help support these good men in the effort of evangelizing and starting independent Baptist churches around the world. 100% of every monetary gift received goes to support missionaries and the scriptures. We do not use funds for anything other than this support. Our home church bears all administration costs.

IBM is a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Pachacamac that operates by the grace of God with other like-minded independent Baptist churches for the work of worldwide evangelism in obedience to Galatians 5:13. IBM was originally started as Peru Missions and was initiated under the authority of Historic Baptist Church in Rhode Island. However, for the vision of training and sending Peruvian missionaries to the world, we moved the missions’ office under a local Baptist church in Peru. Historic Baptist Church is still part of IBM and this church is the primary support for IBM. The First Baptist Church of Pachacamac and HBC are like two hands working together for the same purpose.
